Surprise surprise~!!!!

18 February 2007, Sunday - First Day of Chinese New Year!

Being the first day of Chinese New Year and in accordance to the custom, Esmond and I had gone "拜年”.

We had lunch at my aunt's place, stayed and chatted for a while before leaving to another aunt's place.

After a while, we rushed home to buy ingredients for our steamboat dinner at home with a few friends.

We had Rynaldo & Jennifer, Solomon, Pei Yun and David. We had fun having dinner together.

After dinner, when everything has been cleared up, we sprang a surprise on Esmond.

After a loud "Happy Birthday" song, Esmond was presented with his presents....

He received a sports bag from Kelvin, Winnie, David, Yenki and me...

A golf ball monogrammer (it prints your initials on golf balls) from Pei Yun and Solomon

A sake set from Jennifer and Rynaldo...

Esmond was pleasantly surprised but had lamented that we shortchanged him 2 days coz his birthday doesn't happen until 20 Feb! (He didn't want to grow old!!!) haha...
