"Pak tor"....

06 Oct 2007, Sat - Victoria Point - Rock & Roll - Fish & Chips...

After sleeping in and having brunch, Esmond originally wanted to do some gardening but as the weather forecast said that a storm was likely to happen in the late afternoon, he decided to save his energy (plus his wife was pestering him to go out... he he....)

So we headed for Garden City shopping centre and Rach fulfilled her shopping needs... (he he...)

As it was a Saturday, most shops in Garden City only operated up till 4pm. Too early to head home, we headed for Victoria Point to "pak tor"....













Of course, we also went for the food - fish & chips in a rock & roll cafe stocked full of The King - Elvis....













Though the food wasn't exceptional, it was the quality time that we spent with each other...

After the snack (yes, we still had a proper dinner that night, complete with desserts....) we had our go at the swing (finally! coz the sun had set and it's dark and the kids have all gone home for supper....)

Rach went on the swing, Esmo was standing to the right of Rach. Rach warned Esmond to stand clear for fear of accidentally hitting him. "Ai ya, not possible lah..." Next thing, 'whack!' - Rach hit Esmo on the chest with her right hand... So Esmo went to the front of the swing. Again, Rach cautioned Esmo. "This time you will never be able to hit me..." . Rach swung harder on the swing and stretched her feet as far as possible but could not get to Esmo. Suddenly, "whack!" - Rach flung her shoe at Esmo and hit him on the chest... Esmo was stunned....

(Moral of the story - Never underestimate a woman and challenge them.....)
