Around this time last year (talk about outdated updates!!), our 3 housemates were preparing to pack their bags and leave AU to pursue their own dreams.
Right on the evening of our arrival back in Brisbane from Singapore in February, Kelvin and Winnie hosted a steamboat dinner as a "reunion" dinner.
Kelvin's bro, Jimmy, had just arrived in Brisbane to start on his bachelor degree at QUT.
And this was what greeted us when we got back home from the airport in the morning...
The back part of our living room was like a warehouse!!! With 3 housemates going, they've all packed their belongings into boxes, ready for shipping! The boxes you see here are David's. Try multiply that by 3....
First to go was Christina. She left with her parents at the end of Feb. Her flight leaves from Coollangatta airport in the evening. Before we make our way to the airport, we went our way around Surfers Paradise and we had an early dinner at Yamasakura.
Exactly one week later, it was David who left from the Brisbane International Airport.

And before Heng Onn leaves, the Brisbane Water Commission was ecstatic that the aggregate damn levels touched 40% and decided to give its residents 1/2 hour reprieve to use the hose. And we took that opportunity to wash the car, a luxury that Brisbane couldn't afford for more than a year and Singaporeans dream about... And because it wasn't publicised widely (only a small column in the papers), most cars that drove by gave us the dirty look!
